Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an important aspect of your web site to drive qualified traffic to your web site. Sullivan+Wolf Design has been involved with SEO since 1998 when SEO was in it's infancy.

Our Policy
Sullivan+Wolf Design’s policy on Search Engine Optimization is that anything that is done to increase ranking with Search Engines is a form of “Spam”. While there are acceptable practices that are currently allowed by various Search Engines, Sullivan+Wolf Design can not guarantee that these practices are accepted by all Search Engines, now and into the future, and that by using these techniques could result in a penalty or being temporarily or permanently removed from a Search Engine’s index.

Sullivan+Wolf Design realizes that many clients will still wish to have us “Optimize” their web site. There are several “safer” things that can be done and many risky things that can be done. Please understand that it is not our policy to deceive the viewer with misleading key phrasing. For instance, if you make widgets, don’t advertise for gidgets. Advertise for widgets. We feel that it is a misfortune that Search Engines currently penalize for techniques and not so much for results. It should not be a crime to optimize a site for what they do.
