Sullivan+Wolf Design Celebrates 15th Anniversary
Plymouth NH, September 24, 2004 Sullivan+Wolf Design announced today that they
will be celebrating their 15th year in business. Established in 1989, Sullivan+Wolf
Design (www.SullivanandWolf.com) provides design and marketing services for a
wide array of industries and businesses. Their current portfolio shows an uncanny
expertise in web site development. They have designed and developed over 140 websites.
“We’ve come a long way since then and so much has changed”,
stated Brian Sullivan, co-owner of Sullivan+Wolf Design, “Back then, there
was no internet, no computers per se, and everything was done by hand.”
He further went on to say, “We built this agency by carefully listening
to what our clients had to say and responding quickly to meet their needs. In
the early days, most design agencies used Macintosh computers. We chose Windows
because that was the platform all of our clients used and we felt it would be
an asset to work with them without all the headaches that came with crossing platforms.
We jumped on the internet wagon in 1995 when websites were becoming a reality
and quickly embraced that market. Internet promotion services were introduced
in 1997.”
This philosophy of a symbiotic relationship with their clients has kept Sullivan
+Wolf moving steadily forward. While most of their assignments still come from
the Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts areas, they have seen a large increase
in business from the local area. They feel a large part of this is due to their
involvement with the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce (www.PlymouthNH.org). They donated
the entire design and production of the web site to the Chamber and provided training
and support services.
The Chamber recently stated, “Sullivan & Wolf Design worked hand
in hand with us and our website review committee to completely revamp our website.
We received numerous compliments about the site and the traffic volume continues
to grow. While Sullivan and Wolf listened to our ideas, they also introduced us
to and educated us about many options. They continue to be proactive in helping
to keep the website fresh & up to date. Their office has an outstanding combination
of technical skills and creativity!”
Sullivan+Wolf Design also enabled the Chamber’s TV/Radio Auction to be
live on the internet, opening up the auction to a larger local area and places
as far away as the UK and Europe. Viewer’s can listen and bid on items from
a special web page. The response has been so great, that the Chamber is considering
reducing the amount of phones for this year’s auction.
Brian and Donna Sullivan were recently elected to the Board of Directors for
The Friends of the Arts, (www.friends-of-the-arts.org), a regional arts council,
based here in Plymouth, NH serving the Central New Hampshire area. Founded in
1973, Friends of the Arts presents quality visual and performing arts to children
and adults both as observers and participants. They are dedicated to art education,
enrichment and improving the support of NH artists. Friends of the Arts sponsors
various events held at the Silver Center for Cultural Arts and provides important
art experiences with schools throughout the area. Brian and Donna hope to help
Friends of the Arts with their marketing and advertising.
In 2004 Sullivan+Wolf introduced Giclee printing. A Giclee print is a high-end
ink-jet print most often used by artists for limited run reproductions. “We
are using the new Epson system, which uses seven pigment based inks. Pigment based
inks last a lot longer than traditional dye-based inks, most commonly found in
ink-jet printers today.”,said Brian. “I hope to further help the art
community by providing this service. I will be drawing on my 15 years of experience
as a master photo lab technician to help artists reproduce their visions.”
The future looks bright for Sullivan+Wolf’. “We have found a good
niche with the small and medium size businesses so common in New Hampshire. By
providing great value with exceptional service, companies are increasingly turning
to us to get it done right without breaking the bank. Most clients don’t
mind that we are often located far away from them. It shows that with technology
and a great attitude towards business, one can live in such a beautiful place
and make a decent living.”
